Maple Bear Kyiv, Osokorky is part of the largest and fastest growing network of schools and kindergartens in the world Maple Bear Global schools and is one of the first international school in Kyiv to welcome back children and students starting in June 2022.

In autumn of 2021, the first Maple Bear school in Ukraine opened in Kyiv. The students of Maple Bear Kyiv, Osokorky benefit from the best of Canadian bilingual teaching methodology in a brand-new school building in an area of 7000 sq. m., located in a green residential area.

Maple Bear Kyiv has a spacious multifunctional gym with professional equipment and impressive facilities: a rock-climbing wall, 12-meter pool, basketball court, mini football field, dance, music, art, and cooking studios to master various aesthetic, musical and sports skills.

These last few months were challenging for all students, their families, and the teachers in the school. Despite the difficulties, lessons continued in an online format, utilizing the communication and education management platform Kinderpedia, an official partner of Maple Bear Global Schools.

At the end of February Maple Bear Global Schools announced a Humanitarian and Recovery Fund to provide aid to the staff and parents of Maple Bear Kyiv. The Zaher family, Briggs-Pascoe family and Maple Bear Global Schools have generously contributed equally to this fund. Maple Bear Global Schools’ partners in Central and Eastern Europe and the Wojacki family, who is a part owner in Maple Bear Kyiv, have also contributed. Many joint ventures partners from around the world participated as well to support the team at Maple Bear Kyiv.

The Maple Bear team returned to the beautiful Maple Bear Kyiv, Osokorky location, which is intact and will have summer camps during the month of June-August as well as online activities.

“Being a part of the Maple Bear network made us feel supported during this challenging time. The reopening experience is a successful business case for the strategic advantage of being a part of an internationally established education franchise. We feel the power of the network via the support we receive at all levels. We hope that our students and teachers will feel safe and happy being back,” shared Adam Wojacki, one of the owners of Maple Bear Kyiv, Osokorky. “Registration for the next school year is also underway and we are looking forward to welcoming new parents who would like to provide the best of the Canadian education to their children in class, online or via hybrid model of education.”
